Fluroscape is what happens when you combine science and art – more specifically, what happens when citizen and credentialed scientists alike come together to explore the stunning world of biofluorescence.

As technology improves, we are able to explore these nocturnal worlds with better clarity and insight than ever before. We are discovering that under the cover of darkness, the universe is much more exciting than we ever get to see it – we see a minuscule fraction of reality, while the things that live around us see so much more.

Fluroscape is first and foremost a citizen-first project, hoping to serve as a conduit between those on the front lines exploring and those studying in academia. We aim to share an informative and accessible entry-point to the world of living light, allowing the community at large to get involved.

Fluroscape is the brainchild of Ben Alldridge, an explorer of the dark that is constantly torn between creative pursuits and mad science – usually resulting in a bombastic collision of both.
